Okcheon Hyangsu Baengni (100-ri) Bike Road is a bicycle path located along the riverside of Geumgang River, where one can enjoy the beauty of Daecheongho Lake and the spirit of poetry in the hometown of Jeong Jiyong, one of Korea's modern poets. Visitors can also stop at Jeong Jiyong Birth House & Literature Library and Janggye Tourist Park by biking along National Highway Route 37, which is famous for cherry blossoms. This bicycle path is relatively easy to travel on and is suitable for beginners. It became even more popular after being featured on the TV show "1 Night 2 Days."

Daebakjip serves saengseon guksu (fish noodles), a folk dish of Okcheon. It is a noodle soup made by boiling noodles in a broth made by simmering freshwater fish for 12 hours. It began as a meal for fishermen who used to fish by the river in the old days, who began putting noodles into their maeuntang (spicy fish stew). Other interesting dishes include dori baengbaeng (glazed deep-fried minnows), tteokgalbi (grilled galbi patties), maeuntang (spicy fish stew), and bingeo twigim (deep-fried pond smelt).

E-An Land Forest was established in 1999 when 1,836 arbor species and 1,418 herb species were planted on a land area of 1,118 hectares. The forest features a tropical garden and various other exhibition gardens, as well as thematic spaces like the Haneul Maru. The forest was finally completed in 2006. Inside the arboretum, there are various things to see such as the herb village, parakeet exhibitions, a pine tree garden, and man-made cave. There is also a mini golf course and an outdoor swimming pool. Visitors can also use the onsite pensions and the auto camping site for accommodation, making the E-An Land Forest a great place for family and group visitors.

Maninsan Recreational Forest sits on the border between Daejeon and Geumsan-gun, Chungcheongnam-do, and is located approx. 17 kilometers away from Daejeon Station on National Route 17. It consists of Maninsan, the main peak, as well as Bongsuregol, Keunbaegol, and Jageunbaegol, and, because of its beautiful landscape, it even enshrined the figures of King Taejo and his princes during the Joseon Dynasty. Pure water constantly flows in the valleys and broadleaf trees form a thickly wooded forest. The main framework was made of reinforced concrete and wood was used as the primary material for construction. Also, a pond was created in front of the rest area to harmonize with the natural landscape. As a result, it is widely praised by experts as the most beautifully constructed rest area in Korea, and it is becoming a place that citizens frequently visit to relax. There are comfortable benches and resting spots situated throughout for visitors to relax while enjoying the views and, in particular, Manillugak is a symbolic recreational facility of Maninsan and a representative pavilion structure. It was built in the architectural style of Segeomjeong Pavilion located on Bugaksan in Seoul while employing reinforced concrete for the main framework. It applies a two-story, wooden tile roof to maintain as much beauty of Korean traditional architecture as possible with the consideration of maintenance.

Hagye-ri in Okcheon-gun, Chungcheongbuk-do, is the hometown of Jeong Jiyong, the poet who wrote the poem "Hyangsu" (Nostalgia). The Jeong Jiyong Memorial Hall is located next to Jeong Jiyong's birthplace. The gallery has a Literature Exhibition Hall, which is divided into four parts: Jeong Jiyong's Chronological History, Jiyeong's Life and Literature, Jiyong Literature Map, and Exhibition of his Original Copy of Prose and Poem.

At the Literature Experience Center, visitors can learn more about literature through various multimedia platforms.
