Anseong Machum Land is a resting place in the forest for Anseong citizens, and at the same time, it is a place for culture and arts. It offers a variety of things to see and do including: Namsadang Performance Hall, where visitors can watch folk and cultural performances by Namsadang troupe; Anseong Machum Culture & Craft Center; Anseong Machum Astronomical Observatory; Fountain Plaza; Waterside Park; Wildflower Garden; and Cypress Tree Forest. Also, every October, the city hosts the Namsadang Baudeogi Festival, an event dedicated to Baudeogi, the first and only female leader of the Namsadang troupe of the Joseon dynasty. Namsadang refers to performance troupes which started during the late Joseon period (1392-1910). At the time, Namsadang troupes traveled throughout villages, entertaining the people with traditional performances such as pungmulnori, tightrope walking, and more. Regular Namsadang performances in Anseong first began in order to commemorate Anseong Namsadang, known to be the best of all Namsadang troupes, and the troupe's leader, Baudeogi.

Namsadang is a renowned troupe that combines regional traditional arts, such as acrobatics, singing, dancing, and circus performances that originated from the Anseong area. The troupe was formed in honor of Baudeogi, a celebrated artist of the Joseon dynasty and Korea's first official female entertainer.
Namsadang performs on an ongoing basis and also focuses on developing and promoting various hands-on Namsadang programs. Through their world tour, Namsadang plays a big role in spreading Korea's culture internationally. The annual Baudeogi Festival is also a great opportunity for visitors to take in various performances and take part in activities.

The Namsadang Nori Troupe, which was at the heart of popular culture during the Joseon Dynasty, can be likened to today’s touring musical theater companies. Anseong is the birthplace of the Namsadang, which expressed the joys and sorrows of the times through various forms of entertainment. The Anseong Namsadang Baudeogi Festival inherits the tradition and culture of Namsadang and the artistic spirit of Baudeogi. It is designated as an official festival of the International Council of Organizations of Folklore Festivals and Folk Arts (CIOFFⓇ), an official partner of UNESCO since 2006. Namsadang Nori (Itinerant Troupe Performance) is held at the festival, along with other shows, including Pungmul Nori (Folk Music and Dance Performance) and foreign folk performances. Visitors can catch the tightrope show every day, which is performed on a rope three meters off the ground. Other attractions include the reenactment of a traditional Korean wedding and royal procession and the World Parade.

It is a park with nine table-style dolmens scattered around. This is the place where the two main characters in school uniform sat in a small cabin that says “Forest Library.” The scene where the two kissed for the first time while avoiding the rain was filmed here. Gosam Reservoir (고삼저수지)

Gosam Reservoir is a vast reservoir that was completed in 1963 to supply water to nearby areas. The reservoir is abundant in aquatic plants, providing a good habitat for fish. The dreamy scenery in foggy dawn is like a painting. For this reason, it is a famous filming location frequented by photographers. Visitors can enjoy a walk along the path around while listening to early birds chirp in the background. It is known as a popular spot for auto-camping. The reservoir has three small islands known as Baseok Island, Palja Island, and Donggeurak Island. The lake is so large that it may feel like an ocean surrounded by land. The lake's circumference is 14 kilometers, and it takes 25 minutes by car to encircle the whole lake. The lakeside is also a cherry blossom driving course in spring. In addition to being a popular free campsite, the reservoir is also famous for its fabulous sunset and sunrise views.

Pyeongtaekho is a lake that flows to the western sea. Pyeongtaekho Art Park is located along side it. Sculptures are spread throughout the park, creating a pleasant atmosphere for visitors to stroll and enjoy the art. The Ji Young-hee Gugak Center and Haegum Bench have been built to commemorate Ji Young-hee's (1909-1980) achievements as a national intangible cultural heritage who pioneered the popularization and globalization of Korean traditional music. The Korea Soriter Arts Center has an outdoor performance hall and a library dedicated to traditional Korean music.

The National Mang-Hyang Cemetery provides a resting place for the souls of Koreans who resided and passed away in foreign lands. The Korean government built the cemetery in 1976 for compatriots who were forced to leave their beloved homeland under the Japanese colonial rule and ultimately passed away in foreign lands. In addition to graveyards, the cemetery also houses the KAL Memorial Tower. Every fall, a large memorial service is held.
