The police museum opened on October 14, 2005 to give a better understanding of the job of the police and to offer a formal education to children who wish to become police officers in the future. The history hall of the museum is designed for visitors to learn about the history of Korean police at a glance, exhibiting information on the police force from the Joseon dynasty up until current times.

Visitors to the museum can pretend to be police officers by touching actual equipment and learning about an officer's daily tasks. Visitors can also get in patrol cars, wear a police uniform, experience shooting a gun through a simulation, and learn self-defense martial arts and arrest techniques. Visitors can also go to the museum jail.

Center Coffee (Seoul Forest) is located near Exit 5 of Seoul-forest Station (Suin–Bundang Line) in a residential district between Seongdong-gu Citizens' Sports Center and Seongsu Middle School. Note that the shop does not have its own parking lot. Because of its location in a busy city center, it is best to utilize buses, subway, and other public transportation. The cafe itself is situated on the second and third floors of a building, so it has a pleasant view. As one enters the building, one can find five blue ribbons adorning the doorway. Window seats here have a view of Seoul Forest. Signature menus include hand drip and mugwort lattes, and the menu is rounded out by beverages like espresso, cafe Americano, latte, and cappuccino. Because of its proximity to Seoul Forest, one can go for a leisurely walk there. Other nearby sites include Seongsu-dong Cafe Street, Seongsu Handmade Shoes Park, and Ttukseom Recreation Area.

Seoul Yakhyeon Catholic Church (서울 약현성당)

Yakhyeon Catholic Church was established as a result of Korea gaining religious freedom in the 23rd year of King Gojong’s reign (1886) and the subsequent increase of the Catholic population. In 1891, Myeongdong Cathedral's head priest Doucet laid down the foundation stone in Hap-dong. Coadjutor bishop Coste was in charge of design and construction and the building was eventually completed in 1892. The church was named after "Yakjeonhyeon," or a hill of medicinal herbs. This is because the place where the church is located was once a hilly area covered with medicinal herbs. Later on, Yakjeonhyeon was shortened to Yakhyeon and it became the name of the hilly area between Malli-dong and Seoul Station.

Yakhyeon Catholic Church was the first Western-style church ever built in Korea. It's Gothic architecture features a 12-meter-wide and 32-meter-long cruciform construction with low arched windows and a pointed-arch entrance gate.

FATUM is famous for its great view of Samcheong-dong. The Bugaksan branch of Seoul Hiking Tourism Center is located on Samcheong-dong Culture Street and provides various services to hikers. It provides hiking course guidance and information (available in Korean, English, Chinese, and Japanese) about the mountains of Seoul, including Bukhansan, Bugaksan, and Inwangsan Mountains, as well as promotional materials such as Seoul hiking tourism guidebooks and maps. Also, it operates hiking tour programs with various themes every week for foreigners and offers hiking gear rental services such as hiking boots, hiking attire, trekking poles, gloves, and crampons for foreigners. (Koreans accompanied by foreigners can also rent the gear.) In addition, there is a storage locker and lounge for visitors, so they can pack up and rest before hiking.
