NHIS Ilsan Hospital, opened in March 2000, is the nation's only insurer-run hospital and one of the most trusted and frequently visited hospitals in Korea. The International Healthcare Center, established in August 2012, is currently headed by a professor of neurosurgery and operated by a staff of three. In particular, the center is dedicated to providing the best hospital services for Russian-speaking patients. Seoulland Sledding Hills offers two slopes, one for children (50 meters long) and another for adults (120 meters long). Amenities include food stands that sell various foods, including eomuk (fish cake) soup, resting lounge and medical office. Achasanseongseong Fortress boasts magnificent views of the Hangang River and skyline. The 200m-high mountain fortress wall was built to face southeast, towards the Hangang River. It is also called Janghan-seong or Gwangjang-seong. A fierce battle was once fought here among Gogury, Baekje and Silla because of its strategic location during the period of the Three Kingdoms. King Gae-Ro of Baekje (r. 455-475) died in the war by the Goguryeo forces sent by King Jang-Su (r. 413-491) and General Ondal of Goguryeo was also killed in a battle with the Silla army in 590.

Achasan Mountain is popular as a citizens’ resting place with a historical trail and a natural park including various facilities such as walkway, mountain walkway, a badminton court, a wrestling range, an archery range, various amusement facilities for children, benches, and pavilion.

Gwangmyeong Cave (광명 동굴)

Gwangmyeong Cave was developed in 1912 during the Japanese colonial period to exploit resources, including gold mines, and continued to be developed for industrial purposes after liberation. After the mine was closed in 1972, it was used as a salted seafood warehouse for about 40 years. Gwangmyeong City purchased the site, reorganized it, and made it available to the public. It is currently recognized as a modern industrial heritage site with high historical value, and is well known as a cave theme park in the metropolitan area. Along with the cave, colorful lights and sculptures create a spectacular sight. Aside from tasting and purchasing Korean wine at the Gwangmyeong Wine Cave, visitors can also see the largest media art piece in Korea at the Lascaux Exhibition Hall, enjoying a more diverse travel experience.

Anyangcheon Stream (안양천)

Anyangcheon Stream flows through seven cities in Gyeonggi-do as well as 7 districts of Seoul. The stream starts from the valley, south of Cheonggyesan Mountain, in Uiwang, Gyeonggi-do and flows 35.1 kilometers to the Hanggang River between Yeongdeungpo-gu and Yangcheon-gu. Various types of birds enjoy the stream making it an ecology stream in the middle of the city as well as provide citizens with leisure including bicycle path, bridges, rest area, sports facilities and more.
