Seogwipo Recreational Forest is Korea’s southernmost recreational park that serves as an excellent nature getaway by preserving the mountain’s forest environment and ecosystem while minimalizing manmade structures as much as possible. The park is located approximately 700 meters above sea level, and is 10 °C lower in average temperature compared to that of Seogwipo’s downtown, providing the ideal condition to enjoy forest bathing and camping from spring to fall. The park is easily accessible by car, thanks to the paved road from the mountain’s foothills all the way up to the park’s entrance. It takes about 30 minutes by car from Seogwipo’s downtown to the recreational park. The park is densely packed with trees and the air is filled with the refreshing forest scent, and even has a pebble walking trail suitable for a barefoot massage. The forest is equipped with amenities such as a mountain cottage, forest bathing site, campfire site, cooking area, and auto-camping site. Although the amenities serve to provide visitors’ convenience, they are minimized so as to prevent damage to the forest’s natural environment.

Yongsu Port is a small fisihing port located in the Yongsu-ri area of Jeju. It marks the end point of the Jeju Olle Trail Route 12 and the starting point of Jeju Olle Trail Route 13. The port offers a beautiful blue silhouette view of Chagwido Island, the biggest uninhabited island in Jeju. On both sides of the village, visitors can find Bangsatap towers, which are believed to protect the village.

There are many restaurants with Jeju vibes, including shops selling omegi tteok (millet rice cake). Hallim Traditional 5-Day Market is an ideal place to enjoy the local atmosphere and food. Jungmun Equestrian Park (중문승마공원)

Jungmun Equestrian Park is where visitors can experience horseback riding while looking at the sea, and even beginners can enjoy horseback riding without any concerns. Visitors can choose between a walking course that takes 10–15 minutes and a Beach Olle course that takes 20–25 minutes. The Beach Olle course has a beautiful ocean view and reaches its peak in spring when canola flowers are in full bloom. It is operated under a reservation system in principle, but walk-in is also accepted on a first-come,first-served basis. Visitors are advised to call in advance as programs are subject to cancellation in case of adverse weather.

Teseum Safari is a new concept museum, the first of its kind in the world, exhibiting stitched dolls shaped like wildlife animals, marine animals, flowers, birds and more. On the second floor, varied animal dolls like dolphins, sharks and marine animals such as octopus, turtle, flamingo, crane, and a flock of ducks are available. It is also called the North Breakwater of Hallim Port because it is located in the northern part of Hallim Port. It was the place where Min Seon-ah (played by Shin Min-a) tried to end her life by throwing herself into the water. It extends for about 1,500 meters toward the sea, so you can enjoy the feeling of walking on the sea. On days when the sky is clear and the sea is calm, the sparkling water surface is even more dazzling. If you walk while watching the fishing boats come and go from the port, you will reach the end of the breakwater where you can see the white lighthouse and Biyangdo Island. It takes about 30 minutes on foot.
